After graduating from the University of Hartford in 1988, Mark went to work in the family business as a commercial real estate broker specializing in retail site selection. Mark went on to handle the expansion efforts for several national and international retailers. Mark worked directly with the principals and top level management of the companies.

In September of 2001, Mark left commercial real estate industry to switch to a career in the housing market. After completing several hundred appraisals during that time frame, Mark's experience in appraising grew to include an expansive knowledge of market and neighborhood trends.

As of January 2022, Mark has personally completed over 3200 appraisals of single family, multi-family, condominiums, multi-million dollar properties, complex and unique homes.
